The prevalence of cybercrime poses significant challenges to national security, economic stability, and societal cohesion in Nigeria. Effective countermeasures require coordinated efforts among law enforcement agencies, yet these efforts are often impeded by institutional silos, jurisdictional overlaps, and resource constraints. This study examines the collaborative efforts among law enforcement agencies in combating cybercrime in Nigeria, focusing on the mechanisms, strategies, and challenges that define interagency cooperation. The study anchored its theoretical analysis on the routine activity theory and social network theory.Data were collected from relevant textbooks, journals, newspapers policy documents and other official records. The data congregated were analysed through descriptive method. The findings reveal that while collaborative frameworks exist, they are hindered by inadequate technological infrastructure, lack of skilled personnel, and poor information-sharing protocols. Additionally, interagency rivalries and bureaucratic inefficiencies undermine the collective response to cyber threats. The study highlights best practices and global models that could enhance synergy among Nigerian law enforcement agencies. It recommends strengthening legislative frameworks, adopting advanced technological solutions, and fostering a culture of trust and accountability among agencies.
